Essentials of FEHA California’s Law of the Workplace

Essentials of FEHA California’s Law of the Workplace

The Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) is a collection of powerful and wide-ranging statutes that are controlling authority for workplace discrimination, retaliation and harassment. FEHA is also an influential model for federal and state law across the U.S., and are among the most litigated causes of action in California civil lawsuits

Employment attorneys Alexa Hanlon and David Graulich provide an overview of FEHA’s statutes and the extensive appellate law arising from FEHA. Hanlon, a defense attorney in the Sacramento office of Fisher Phillips, and Graulich, plaintiffs’ attorney with Wronged at Work Law Group in Fair Oaks, will offer their perspectives and real-life experiences from opposite sides of the litigation divide.

This video is intended for those who are new to employment law, and to lawyers who have some workplace law experience but wish to improve their understanding of fundamentals.  Hanlon and Graulich will emphasize revisions to FEHA that have taken effect since January 1, 2020.
