Library Parking Guide
Do Not park in the parking lot next to the library, you will be towed!
The Law Library does not have a parking lot. The lot next to the library is a private, permit-only lot.
Street parking is available, mostly with parking meters.
All parking meters now accept credit cards, in addition to coins. Parking meters are monitored by parking enforcement until 10:00pm.
Disabled Person Parking
- Free parking is at
- Meters,
- Residential permit areas,
- And blue or green curbs.
- Patrons who choose to park in off-street parking lots and garages (public and private) are obligated to pay any applicable parking rates.
- Do not park in the lot adjacent to the library; disabled spaces in that lot are reserved for monthly (paying) parkers with disabilities.

Sacramento Regional Transit
Map of the Sacramento Regional Transit service to downtown Sacramento. There is a light rail stop at the K Street Mall, within walking distance of the Sacramento County Public Law Library. The Amtrak Station is also in walking distance of the Law Library.
