Library Parking Guide

All parking meters now accept credit cards, in addition to coins. Parking meters are monitored by parking enforcement until 10:00pm.

Below we have summarized the parking options near the library.

Do Not park in the parking lot next to the library, you will be towed!

Disabled Person Parking

  • Free parking is at
    • Meters,
    • Residential permit areas,
    • And blue or green curbs.
  • Patrons who choose to park in off-street parking lots and garages (public and private) are obligated to pay any applicable parking rates. 
  • Do not park in the lot adjacent to the library; disabled spaces in that lot are reserved for monthly (paying) parkers with disabilities.

Sacramento Regional Transit
Map of the Sacramento Regional Transit service to downtown Sacramento. There is a light rail stop at the K Street Mall, within walking distance of the Sacramento County Public Law Library. The Amtrak Station is also in walking distance of the Law Library.
