Preparing and Opposing Pre-Trial Motions

An overview of the most common pre-trial motions, including dispositive motions such as demurrers, motions to strike, and motions for summary adjudication and/or judgement, and discovery motions such as motion to compel and for protective orders. The presentation will provide civil practitioners basic tips for preparing and defending against these motions in superior court, with a special focus on motion work before the Sacramento County Superior Court.
