Family law self help assistance, including forms assistance, file review, preparation of orders and judgments and other forms of procedural assistance in family law (including Domestic Violence restraining orders and governmental child support cases) and probate guardianship cases.
Workshops:
- Domestic Violence Restraining Orders: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:45 a.m.
- Income and Expense Declaration (Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m.) & Financial Disclosures (Thursdays at 8:30 a.m.)
- All other workshops (Parentage, Dissolution, Default Judgment, Request for Order), are by appointment only. You must walk in or use E-Correspondence to make an appointment.

How to get help: Walk-in or use E-Correspondence Assistance: Litigants who would like procedural assistance or help determining the next steps in their case must contact the FLF using their E-Correspondence System. E-Correspondence assistance is available to any self-represented party in a family law, domestic violence, family support or guardianship case filed in Sacramento County Superior Court. Please note that if you have a confidential file and your e-mail address does not match the address on file for you with the court, the FLF will be unable to assist you via their E-Correspondence System.
Eligibility: Must have family law case in Sacramento County Superior Court.
