VIDEO -What Can Be Recovered from Mobile Devices and How to Get to It So It Can Be Used in Litigation

This video will cover the latest technologies related to mobile devices and tools and techniques now available to forensic examiners to recover evidence such as location information, deleted text messages, browsing data, and other artifacts. The presentation will also include a brief introduction to cell tower data, what it provides, and how it is mapped. Cell phone technology and forensic tools have evolved greatly over the last year or two and capabilities to recover data have changed as well, some for the better, others not so much. In addition, the presentation will answer some of the most often asked questions regarding what can now be recovered from mobile devices, how to get to it and how it can be used in litigation or investigations.
