What is legal analytics? Everyone has heard the buzz, but most have not had a lot of “real” exposure to the concept. During this session we will answer this question and review general trends in legal analytics, including the mechanism by which this data is being used by legal professionals.
During this 60-minute CLE session, Stephan Shields, JD, Solutions Constant with LEXISNEXIS will cover (1) a review of the ethical rules pertaining to legal research, (2) examine how analytics have changed our application of model rules of professional responsibility, (3) understand new technology “busswords, and (4) examine how to use and apply analytics in a legal case.
