Judicial Perspective: Evictions and Landlord/Tenant Disputes (WEBINAR)

Judge Peter K. Southworth will discuss judicial perspectives on eviction lawsuits, whether they are filed because of non-payment of rent, or for other reasons.  He will also discuss tenant protections and the continuing impacts of new legislation and other measures enacted over the last two years to address the impacts of the COVID epidemic on landlords and tenants.  Finally, Judge Southworth will discuss the resources for self-represented landlords and tenants provided by the Superior Court and how the availability of government rental assistance for qualifying individuals impacts eviction and rent recovery lawsuits.
