How to Avoid Sinking Your Appeal Before it Sets Sail

There are some swift-moving currents in all types of civil litigation that can capsize an appeal before it even gets out of the trial-court harbor. Helmed by an Appellate Law Specialist (certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization), this program is charted to navigate attendees through some of the choppy waters one can encounter when setting afloat an appeal in state court. Those on board for this webinar will learn how to recognize and avoid certain all-too-common errors that can torpedo a civil appeal in the early stages of its voyage.
