Effective Use of Code of Civil Procedure Sections 664.6 and 998 to Secure Judgment (WEBINAR)

This webinar presentation is designed for the seasoned litigator and requires a basic understanding of each statute.  It will address the 2021 amendment to section 664.6 allowing attorneys to sign settlement agreements, the importance of the settlement writing, and the role of the attorneys in the process.  This presentation also will examine recent case law regarding section 998 and best practices for enforcing or defeating a statutory offer.
