In this presentation, Susan C. Hill, President and principal attorney of Hill Law Office, PC will explore fundamental considerations in deciding when a conservatorship is a good path forward, including alternatives to conservatorship; grounds for appointing a conservator; standing, jurisdiction and venue; and, various types of conservatorships. This class will also provide an overview of procedures and forms required for filing a general conservatorship of the person and the estate, as well as some common issues that arise, and tips for a successful appointment.
