Kevin P. Whiteford

Kevin P. Whiteford is a successful litigator representing commercial equipment lessors, lenders, contractors and small businesses in commercial litigation, business litigation, and real estate disputes. He also represents creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Whiteford regularly speaks at continuing legal education courses on creditors’ rights and commercial collections, and he has also taught at the University of California, Davis Campus University Extension in Sacramento, California. Mr. Whiteford received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Santa Clara. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1989, and began his practice in the areas of civil litigation and real estate with the Sacramento firm of Burger & Flaherty. When that firm split in 1992, Mr. Whiteford continued his practice in the same areas of law with Flaherty & Serlin. In 2002, Mr. Whiteford partnered with Mark Serlin to create Serlin & Whiteford, LLP, a Sacramento boutique commercial collection and business litigation firm. Mr. Whiteford represents clients ranging from Fortune 50 companies to small local businesses and individuals
