Jennifer Mouzis. Esq.

Jennifer Mouzis (she/her), founder and principal attorney at Mouzis Criminal Defense, heads a Sacramento-based, women-led law firm specializing in defending individuals accused of criminal conduct by state or federal entities. A 1998 graduate of McGeorge School of Law, Jennifer has litigated criminal cases statewide as a former deputy district attorney and private defense counsel. Actively engaged in community service, she serves on the boards of the Sacramento County Bar Association (SCBA) and California Attorneys for Criminal Justice (CACJ), the Upper Room Dining Hall and founded and chairs the nonprofit When There Are Nine (WTA9), dedicated to addressing inequities in the legal system for women and marginalized groups.
