Mize, Sacramento Superior Court, Department 121 discussing: As lawyers of faith, it is obvious to us that our religious traditions have molded our judicial system. However, in some ways, has our judicial system progressed beyond our faith traditions and, in so doing; can our experience as lawyers actually improve our religious beliefs and practices? Is “Catholic lawyer” an oxymoron or more a symbiosis?
