The Sacramento County Public Law Library in collaboration with the St. Thomas More Society, Sacramento will present the Honorable James M. Mize, Sacramento Superior Court, Department 121 discussing: As lawyers of faith, it is obvious to us that our religious traditions have molded our judicial system.  However, in some ways, has our judicial system progressed beyond our faith traditions and, in so doing; can our experience as lawyers actually improve our religious beliefs and practices?  Is “Catholic lawyer” an oxymoron or more a symbiosis?

Note: Registration opens at 11:45 AM; Lunch begins at 12:00 PM; Presentation from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM. Cost is $30.00 received by May 10; after May 10, $35.00, as space is available.
