In this video presentation David Mann, Northern California Consultant, “The Other Bar” discusses how attorneys are more vulnerable to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and suicide than the general population. David discussed interact of brain chemistry, personality traits of attorneys, and characteristics of the legal profession that put attorneys at high risk of burnout and addiction. David emphasized strategies on how to cope with the stress of law practice and provided knowledgeable resources on how to get help for yourself or your colleagues.

This MCLE event was a collaboration between CEB and the Sacramento County Public Law Library.
