John Stoller

John Stoller is an assistant public defender at the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office. He helps run the post conviction unit which specializes in murder resentencing, Franklin hearings and habeas corpus. He is also in charge of the office’s response to the Racial Justice Act, a groundbreaking new law in California that aims to rectify implicit bias in the justice system. Before coming to the Public Defender, he was a civil rights attorney working with Pamela Price in Oakland.
