Under the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy guidelines, the Law Library is able to remain open while Sacramento County is in the purple tier.
To help us keep patrons and staff safe, and to comply with state and local public health requirements, we have implemented some new guidelines for entering the library. We will also be limiting the number of patrons in the library, and offering limited services to reduce physical contact.
Services that are currently available:
A Reference Librarian will be available Monday – Friday, 9:00-4:00, to provide assistance over the phone (916) 874-6012 or by email (email@example.com). Brief assistance will also be available in person.
Visit the library to select and checkout materials, or arrange for curbside pick up. Request materials via the online catalog, or by contacting the Circulation Desk at (916) 874-8541 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll contact you to schedule a pickup when your materials are ready.
Need a copy of a case, article, or section of a practice guide? If we have it available electronically, we can email it to you. Submit your request online or via email email@example.com. This service is free during the pandemic.
Computers with access to legal research databases and word processing will be available for use by appointment only. Two-hour appointments will be available throughout the day. Call 916-874-8541 to schedule an appointment. Public WiFi will not be not available.
Some of our vendors are offering temporary remote access to our subscription databases as a COVID accommodation. See saclaw.org/remote-databases for more information.
Civil Self-Help Center
