Library cards will be issued to regular borrowers and Long Term Deposit patrons. Library cards will not be issued to Single Item Deposit patrons. Patrons should present their Library cards to check out materials. A $2.00 fee will be charged to replace lost Library cards.
Overdue Fines
An overdue fine of $1.00 per day per item is charged. If the overdue period exceeds 30 days, the item will be deemed lost. The borrower will be charged for the value of the item, plus a $25.00 processing fee.
Borrowing privileges will be suspended for patron with fines in excess of $5.00 until all fines in excess of $5.00 are paid.
Fines for Items Returned Damaged
Items returned to the Library with extensive damage will be deemed lost. The borrower will be charged for the value of the item plus a $25.00 processing fee. A $5.00 fine will be charged for slightly damaged materials.
